Media Studies - Advanced Portfolio
Last year, by the end of AS Level, I have finished my Foundation Portfolio and also learned of many things, including everything I need to do in order to produce a film, and even how to market as well as distribute it. Throughout the process, I discovered many interesting things about myself, for example, my directing style, or my personal interests in terms of visuals and messages.​
​Summer 2024, I set foot off to New York City, joining an intensive filmmaking summer camp in 3 weeks. I got to learn from director Ingrid Jungermann and gained hands-on experience by partaking in 9 short film projects with different roles: director, screenwriter, cameraman, boom OP, assistant director and editor (using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects)
With these new experiences, I am well-prepared for my Advanced Porfolio, in which I will be attempting to do a music promotional package, including a music video, a digipak and a social media page.
